Six Rivers Rafting has two locations in Humboldt and Trinity County. If you are renting gear to raft, kayak or SUP on the lower section of the Trinity then please meet us at our new Location at 39008 CA-299, Willow Creek, CA. If you booked a Class III Whitewater Trip on the upper Trinity then you will be meeting us in Big Flat, CA at Big Flat River Access. If you booked a Class II Whitewater Trip then you will be meeting us at Cedar Flat River Access in Del Loma, CA.

Did you book a Class III Whitewater Trip?

Class III Whitewater Trip, Pigeon Point Trinity River:
Big Flat River Access, Big Flat CA (near the Straw House Resort)

Coming from the east/Weaverville: Head west on Hwy 299 from Weaverville. Big Flat is about 30 minutes from Weaverville, or 1 hour 30 minutes from Redding (more if road construction). Upon entering the small town of Big Flat you will see the Straw House (a bright yellow cafĂ© on the left side of the highway). Continue to Big Flat River Access, it is located just past “town” on the left side of the highway. You will see a large parking lot, pit toilet, and sign that says Big Flat River Access. There is no gas or cell service in Big Flat, so fill up and make your calls before you leave Weaverville.

Coming from the west/Arcata: Head east on Hwy 299 from Highway 101. Big Flat is about a 2 hour drive from the coast Eureka/Arcata/Trinidad. You will pass by our shop in Willow Creek – keep going – you’ve got about 45 minutes to Big Flat from here. The town of Big Flat is just after the town of Big Bar, CA. Upon entering the small town of Big Flat you will see Big Flat River Access, it is a large parking lot on the right side of the highway with a pit toilet and a sign that says Big Flat River Access.

Did you book a Class II Whitewater Trip?

Class II Whitewater Trip, Hayden Flat Trinity River:
Cedar Flat River Access, Del Loma CA

Coming from the east/Weaverville: You will be meeting us at the Cedar Flat River Access, located between the towns of Burnt Ranch (west) and Del Loma (east). From Weaverville, Cedar Flat is about a 45 minute drive heading west on Hwy 299. From Weaverville, you will pass our shop in Big Flat, but do not stop here since we will be meeting you at the river access point. From here, you will keep driving through the towns of Big Bar, then Del Loma. Cedar Flat River Access will be on the left side of the highway, directly before a bridge crossing over the river. If you cross over the bridge and begin heading uphill towards Burnt Ranch, you’ve gone too far. We will be waiting for you there with our van and red rafts!

Coming from the west/Arcata: You will be meeting us at the Cedar Flat River Access, located between the towns of Burnt Ranch (west) and Del Loma (east). From Arcata (Hwy 101), Cedar Flat is about an hour and 15 minute drive heading east on Hwy 299. In Willow Creek, you will pass our shop, but do not stop here since we will be meeting you at the river access point. You will keep driving through the town of Burnt Ranch. After passing through Burnt Ranch, begin heading downhill, and then cross a bridge over the river. Immediately after the bridge, Cedar Flat River Access is on your right. If you’ve entered the town of Del Loma, you’ve gone too far. We will be waiting for you there with our van and red rafts!
